The Easy Topic For A Cause And Effect Essay
The Easy Topic For A Cause And Effect EssayThe easy topic for a cause and effect essay is a very broad subject. We tend to focus on a particular cause when we are in crisis or in a personal conflict, but we always need to keep in mind that we live in a world where the causes can sometimes overlap and sometimes completely contradict one another. For example, do you think it would be easier for you to get along with someone who has a lot of money, or do you think that if you didn't have so much money that you would have problems? We could just go over this hypothetical scenario a couple of times to illustrate the point. Let's say you had plenty of money and some kind of dispute with a person who doesn't have a lot of money. How would you feel about that? What if you really were comfortable with the person and just thought that he or she wasn't acting right? Would you be able to change the situation? Would the cause and effect of your argument be any different from the problem with the pe rson without a lot of money? Let's look at how these examples might apply to you.As you might imagine, if you were in trouble with someone who had lots of money, the cause and effect would probably be easier for you to prove. This is because you would probably have had the opportunity to be around a lot of people and to meet the money person often, so that your social interaction skills and interactions with other people would be more advanced. But in terms of a personal conflict with someone who didn't have a lot of money, the cause and effect may be a lot harder to prove. If you had been hurt by the money person and were seeing him or her a lot, it would be harder for you to convince others that what you were saying was true. In some ways, it would be difficult to prove or disprove any accusation, because people would be using their perceptions and knowledge of you to try to manipulate your thoughts. It doesn't mean that if you meet someone and they make a disparaging comment, that it makes you or them really bad people. It just means that there are situations where people will want to manipulate your behavior for their own gain. We all like to be happy and do things we love.We all have friends, and we all like to think of ourselves as being good people. The problem is that our good traits are often hidden behind a facade. We all know that sometimes people have to lie to make themselves look better, but we don't want to look bad, and we don't want to deny the good things in our lives just because it isn't pleasant to admit that we have been wrong. We all have a tendency to get caught up in the details of the situations that are causing us pain. And sometimes people who have power will use that power to take advantage of people in a situation that they know are already vulnerable. So it's important to remember that sometimes the cause and effect relationship between two people cannot be easily explained.

A Career as a Police Officer - Essay free essay sample
I think that the policing course will provide me with all the essential knowledge to become an outstanding police officer therefore, I am looking forward to all of the topics covered but most of all the practical work, because I will be able to show what I can do best, although the operational policing topic seems very interesting. As you will notice on my UCAS form I took sociology and there is a reason for this and that is because of the crime and policing topic which I am doing this year, despite all of the other topics that were interesting this is by far the most motivating topic in attracting me to your course. I think that crime and policing is fascinating topic and I will enjoy the course to my full potential. I think it might be good to mention that I have had to rely on the police in the past and found that they dealt with my situation effectively, and prepared me to finally make the decision to become a police officer. We will write a custom essay sample on A Career as a Police Officer Essay or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page There is little I have done that relates to the course because of the age restrictions that I have later mentioned, but that does not make me less enthusiastic about the topic in fact it makes me want to do it more because of the fact I want to learn much more about the subject. To learn a little more I am currently reading a book called aâ⠬? Policing a diverse societyaâ⠬â⠢ by a man called Phil Clements. At the moment the book Is very appealing and was made for foundation degree students and is a perfect asset to my application. In year 10 I applied for my work experience with my local police station unfortunately I wasnt old enough, therefore I went on a placement where I could get a good understanding of helping people and get a real feel of a working environment, similar to that of working with the police. I have been awarded a CSLA (community sports leader award), in which we had to teach and look after year 2s to year 6s and part of this was 10 hours of community work with a local primary school teaching kids basketball. From the community work with the CSLA I have gained a greater understanding of helping in a community, a prospect which I am greatly looking forward to in the police force. When Im not in school and in my free time I like to enjoy a good game of badminton, or if thats not available I will either go to the gym or go for a swim to keep fit. I have been fond of badminton since I can remember and have always been keen on the sport. I currently have a part-time job at a hotel where I live in which I prepare food and make deserts and starters. I generally have this job to save money for university and monthly necessities. I am seriously looking forward to your course and the enjoyment and work of university life. After I complete my foundation degree, with all of the skills, knowledge and work with the Northampton police, I hope to peruse my chosen career path and become a member of the Great British police force.

Profile of Serial Killer Joseph Paul Franklin
Profile of Serial Killer Joseph Paul Franklin Joseph Paul Franklin is a serial extremist killer whose crimes were motivated by a pathological hatred of African Americans and Jews. Fueled by the words of his hero, Adolf Hitler, Franklin went on a killing rampage between 1977 and 1980, targeting interracial couples and setting off bombs in synagogues. Childhood Years Franklin (named James Clayton Vaughan Jr. at birth) was born in Mobile, Alabama on April 13, 1950, and was the second of four children in a volatile impoverished home. As a child Franklin, who felt different from other children, turned to reading books, mostly fairy tales, as an escape from the domestic violence in the home. His sister has described the home as abusive, saying Franklin was the target of much of the abuse. Teen Years During his teen years, he was introduced to the American Nazi Party through pamphlets and he adopted the belief that the world needed to be cleansed of what he considered inferior races - mainly African Americans and Jews. He was in full agreement with the Nazi teachings and he became a member of the American Nazi Party, the Ku Klux Klan, and the National States Rights Party. Name Change In 1976, he wanted to join the Rhodesian Army, but because of his criminal background he needed to change his name to be accepted. He changed his name to Joseph Paul Franklin - Joseph Paul after Adolph Hitlers minister of propaganda, Joseph Paul Goebbels, and Franklin after Benjamin Franklin. Franklin never did join the army, but instead launched his own war of the races. Obsessed With Hate Obsessed with hatred for interracial marriages, many of his killings were against black and white couples he encountered. He has also admitted to blowing up synagogues and takes responsibility for the 1978 shooting of Hustler Magazine publisher, Larry Flynt and the 1980 shooting on civil rights activist and Urban League president Vernon Jordan, Jr. Over the years Franklin has been linked to or confessed to numerous bank robberies, bombings, and murders. However, not all of his confessions are viewed as truthful and many of the crimes were never brought to trial. Convictions Alphonse Manning and Toni SchwennMadison, WisconsinIn 1985 Franklin was found guilty of killing interracial couple Alphonse Manning and Toni Schwenn,à both 23 years old.à The couple was pulling out of a shopping mall when Franklin rammed their car from behind, then got out and shot Manning twice and Schwenn four times, killing both. He was sentenced to two life terms.Bryant Tatum and Nancy HiltonChattanooga, TennesseeIn 1977 he pleaded guilty to the July 29, 1978 sniper murder of Bryant Tatum (black) and for attempting to murder his white girlfriend Nancy Hilton.à The couple wasà at a Pizza Hut restaurant in Chattanooga when Franklin, hiding in tall grass near the restaurant, gunned them down. Franklin was found guilty and given a life sentence.Donte Brown and Darrel LaneCincinnati, OhioCousins Dante Brown, 13, and Darrel Lane, 14, were headed to a local convenience store on June 6, 1980, when Franklin, standing on an overpass, shot two bullets into each child. Lane died at t he scene and Brown died a few hours later at the hospital. Franklin was found guilty and sentenced to two life terms. Ted Fields and David MartinSalt Lake City, UtahTed Fields, 20, and David Martin, 18, were friends who shared the reputation for being hardworking, responsible and with bright futures. On August, 20, they went jogging with two women at Liberty Park.à Franklin hit the group with a barrage of bullets, striking Fields three times and Martin five, killing both. One of the women was injured. He was found guilty and received two life sentences.Gerald GordonPotosi, MissouriOn October 8, 1977, Gerald Gordon, Steven Goldman and William Ashà had no idea a Remington 700 hunting rifle was aimed at them while they walked through the synagogue parking lot.à Franklin, who had carefully planned his assault the day before, fired five shots at the men, killing Gordon and injuring Goldman and Ash. In February 1997, a jury found him guilty and sentenced to death by lethal injection. Any Regrets? Eight life sentences and a death sentence has done little to change Franklins radical racist views. He has told authorities that his only regret is that killing Jews isnt legal. During a 1995 article published by Deseret News, Franklin seemed to boast about his killing sprees and the only regret that he seems to have is that there were victims that managed to survive his murderous rage. On November 20, 2013, Franklin was executed by lethal injection in Missouri. He offered no final statement.

Identity and Representation Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words
Identity and Representation - Essay Example My beliefs and values are developed in social groups where my identity is developed. For instance the Sun Devil Sports Clubs and the Taiwanese Student Association at Arizona State University are social groups that identify me. I am part of numerous social groups in the community. Being a Taiwanese, the Taiwanese Student Association is one of the organization I associate myself with. In this group, people regard me as one of their own who has come to the United States with the same dreams as them. I share several characteristics with people in this group including cultural heritage, beliefs, values, religion, color and race. This group has affected and influenced my identity to a particular level. The members in this group have helped me to adapt to changes in this new country, by changing my attitude and some aspects of my character. For example, I had to learn about how to conduct myself when I am with individuals from Arizona, more like when you are in Rome do what the Romans do. T he activities that I am participating in have contributed greatly towards which peopleââ¬â¢s groups I have become part of. I like poetry and most of the time I find myself spending quite a considerable amount of time with fellow poets. I have realized that these poets I spend time with have numerous sentiments concerning poetry. Poetry in itself is considered a literal art which is inclined towards rhythm, sound, symbol that evokes hidden meaning to a particular subject. However, in some groups individuals refer poetry as imaginative experience that evokes emotional response to relax and entertain themselves. This presents a situation where differences materialize and I find myself unable to understand what poetry is all about. Although the differences may undermine my opinions about this individuals, there is the benefit of making sense of these different opinions regarding poetry. The conflicting opinions about poetry, help me to deduce issues this particular group associate wi th, without any inhibitions. A number of ideas an individual tend to be influenced with the interaction of diverse groups in an area of residence or workplace. It is common in my opinion for ideas of an individual to evolve or change with time as interaction with other groups in different places takes place. Numerous things such as assumptions, ideas and opinions have changed in my life as a result of relocating from Taiwan to the United States. For instance, I used to have the opinion that everyone when meeting for the first time a greeting by the bow of the head was a must to show respect to other people. However, when I came to the United States I came to the realization that this was not applicable. In fact I was shocked to see that people just greet each other casually even though they have met for the first time. Thus, I realized that behavior, attitude and opinions matter a lot when developing an identity that others may perceived me with. In addition, I found that stereotypi ng the African American community by the white community as I had heard from Taiwan was simply not true, because I experienced different races learning together in the same school. This has been important in shaping my perspective of the identity of African Americans, and I have welcomed them with their ideas and opinions to shape my own identity. There has been a significant influential effect in my life from being a member of several groups and
